His career spans fifteen years in regulated banking. At Sygnum Bank he built the compliance, regulatory and anti-financial-crime function of the world's first regulated digital asset bank, leading fourteen officers across four jurisdictions. At J.P. Morgan he led regulatory, AML and line-of-business compliance for the corporate and investment bank in Switzerland and Austria, co-led the EMEA ex-UK risk assessment practice group, and ran the Swiss Financial Services Act implementation. Earlier roles at Deutsche Bank in Zurich and Vienna covered compliance monitoring and testing, anti-money-laundering supervision and corporate relationship management.

He lectures on artificial intelligence and compliance at OST and on innovation compliance at HWZ, sits on the boards of Swiss Digital Development AG and CENSE AG, and served as an independent director of Mountain Protocol until its acquisition by Anchorage Digital. In 2026 he co-founded the Swiss Compliance & Financial Crime Executives Association, which he chairs.

His doctorate from Heriot-Watt University examined communication, behavioural biases and financial markets through a decade-long study of Tesla Inc. He continues to research investor psychology, behavioural finance, information economics and econometrics, and has spoken at conferences including AMLP Forum, Deloitte, PwC and the NextGen Payments & RegTech Forum.
